The IT company “Applicus” developed a booking platform for an Italian client

Nestled among the picturesque hills of Piedmont, the new, exclusive hotel “Casa Nice D’Oro” has taken an important step toward digitizationstep A step forward—from now on, guests can conveniently plan their stay and make reservations directly online. This solution was implemented by the Lithuanian-owned IT company “ Applicus,” which created a modern website with an integrated booking and payment system.

“When a guest from Switzerland, the Netherlands, or Lithuania plans a vacation in Italy’s Piedmont region, their first contact with a hotel usually takes place not at the front desk, but online. That’s exactly why our client, Casa Nizza D’Oro, chose to invest in the new booking platform we developed,” says Aidas Šemežys, CEO of the Lithuanian IT company Applicus.

The project was implemented for “Casa Nizza D’Oro,” a client in the hospitality sector operating in the mountainous region of Piedmont, Italy. The project work included not only the creation of a corporate website but also the implementation of a functional booking platform that allows hotel guests to plan their stays, make reservations, and complete payments online.

The project marked another important step in strengthening Applicus’s capabilities on an international scale and expanding the export opportunities for Lithuanian digital solutions.

A solution focused on user experience and business results

The solution developed by “Applicus” features a modern design, user-friendly navigation, and functionalities tailored to the needs of the lodging industry. The platform’s integrated booking system allows visitors to view accommodation options in real time, select their desired dates, make reservations, and complete payments online.

The project lasted half a year and included website design, programming, the implementation of booking functionality, and the integration of administrative solutions. Tools were also implemented to manage customer inquiries and the booking process more efficiently.

“What made this project interesting was the need to balance high aesthetic standards with the functionality of the reservation system. The main focus was on ensuring that potential guests could complete the entire process—from their first visit to the website to booking confirmation—quickly and conveniently. Of course, to avoid potential errors, we’ve also implemented synchronization of the website’s calendar with other popular booking platforms,” says Aidas Šemežys, CEO of MB “Applicus.”

A Step Toward International Expansion

The project completed in Italy marks another stage in Applicus’s expansion into foreign markets. The company aims to strengthen its position in Europe by providing information technology and business process digitization solutions to clients in various sectors. Such projects contribute to the growth of Lithuanian technology service exports and enhance the visibility of the country’s IT sector abroad.

The company believes that successful projects begin with open dialogue and mutual trust, which is why it invites businesses to discuss their digital needs. Let’s get in touch—just one email could be the start of a great partnership.
